I fostered some Raccoons who's mommy ran off and left them. This was a big job, but provided much inspiration. They are interesting creatures! I have several works inspired by them.

For my Father

I painted this years ago, for my father, who has since passed away. It now hangs in my daughter's home, and she says it's her favorite . It's entitled 'Ship's Return.'

Shaq

This is my beloved dog Shaq. Unfortunately, he passed away some time ago. In attempting to capture his spirit, I was inspired to paint his portrait. People enjoy it so much, that I've begun to paint 'Pet Portraits' on a commission basis. If interested, email me at art_n_pets @sbcglobal.net.
